Nickle Electrical Companies was founded in 1987 by the late Paul Allen Nickle, as Paul A. Nickle, Inc. Electrical Contractors. Current owners Steve and Debbie Dignan acquired the company in 1991 and in 2008 the name was changed to Nickle Electrical Companies to better represent the company as a whole.
Nickle Electrical Companies works within an 80-mile radius of its two locations, Newark and Georgetown, and performs commercial, industrial, residential, and service electrical work.

Nickle Electrical Companies has won more than 20 Associated Builders and Contractors Excellence in Construction awards for projects including Tatnall Performing Arts Center, Barclay’s DryRock building on the Wilmington riverfront, and the P. S. DuPont Elementary School Renovation, the largest school renovation in the State of Delaware’s history.
