Journeyman Electrician

Mid-Atlantic Region Full-Time

Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical equipment and systems in commercial, industrial, and residential settings. Work from plans, specifications, codes, and industry standards. Collaborate with the project team to ensure safety, quality, and on-time completion.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Troubleshoot electrical components, wiring diagrams, transformers, motors, panels, and circuits
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems (switch gears, motor controls, electrical panels, CT cabinets, conveyors, lighting, power supplies)
  • Test electrical systems and circuit continuity using testing devices (ohmmeters, voltmeters, oscilloscopes)
  • Inspect systems and components for hazards, defects, or maintenance needs; ensure code compliance
  • Diagnose malfunctioning systems using test equipment and hand tools
  • Maintain a safe workplace in compliance with safety policies and OSHA requirements
  • Instruct and mentor apprentices
  • Maintain company-owned property and equipment
  • Utilize the National Electrical Code (NEC)

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Journeyman License in Delaware or completion of 4-year Electrical Apprenticeship
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Willingness to travel to Tri-State projects
  • Ability to bend conduit and work in varied environments

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Prolonged standing, bending, squatting, climbing ladders. Lifting up to 50 pounds. Work outdoors in all weather and indoors. Exposure to noise, hot/humid conditions. Protective equipment required.
